We are interested in emerging ICT that could help individuals maintain their independence, remain mobile, communicate with others and be included in society.

Once a month we produce the 'Technology Radar' which is sent out with the ActiveAge Alert.

This month's Technology Radar features a next generation walking stick, a virtual assistant avatar, and an age friendly assessment app.

This month's technology radar features a new mobility device for wheelchairs, a dehydration monitor which enables independent living, a tablet app which monitors concussions and a new medical implant for spinal disorders. 

This month's technology radar features a remote monitoring device for joint replacement surgery, electronic health records aimed at improving hospital efficiencies, exoskeleton technology which enables those with spinal cord injuries to walk again and the world's first wireless ultrasound imaging system. 

 

This month's technology radar features a smart phone app which enables safe driving, a pair of sunglasses which reset your 24-hour body clock, an easy to use home surveillance system and the smallest heart pump every invented.
